Whole Wheat Crackers

This recipe is so simple and the crackers are sooo yummy!  We had them this weekend with a big bowl of soup...perfect for a cold winter day!

Ingredients:

1 3/4 c Joseph's Grainery Soft White Wheat, ground into a coarse flour using blender
1 1/2 c all purpose flour
3/4 tsp salt
1/3 c vegetable oil
1 c water
salt for seasoning

Directions:  Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.  In a medium blow, stir together the two types of flour and  3/4 tsp salt.  Pour in the vegetable oil and water; mix until just blended.

On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough as thin as possible - no thicker than 1/8 of an ince.  Place dough on an ungreasd baking sheet and makr squares with a knife, but don't cut through, just score.  Prick each cracker with a fork a few times and sprinkle with salt.

Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until crisp and light brown.  When cool, remove from baking sheet and seperate into individual crackers.
