How do you use your products?
The simple answer - you cook and bake with them.  We are constantly adding new recipes to the website.  We only post recipes that we've made and have enjoyed ourselves.  Looking for a particular recipe, check out our Recipe Index.

Image Map Are your products organic?
No, while our products are not certified organic, we like to say that we offer a High Quality Alternative to Organic.  For more information on our growing practices and philosophy, read Is It Organic?  All of Joseph's Grainery products are Kosher Certified to give you peace of mind in the care and stewardship we demonstrate in our growing, storing, milling and packaging.

What is the difference between Hard Red and Soft White Wheat?
The primary difference between these two types of wheat is their protein content.  Hard Red Wheat has a higher protien content making it suitable for bread baking.  Soft White Wheat and the flour we mill with it is better suited for cakes, cookies, and other baked goodies.
