Farm Update - Fall Field Work

We've headed back into the fields to plant the 2014 crop of Joseph's Grainery Whole Grains and Legumes!  Above you see Darrel taking the tractor and seeder to the fields to begin seeding.  We plant much of our crop right now and it won't be harvest until next July or August - talk about delayed gratification.  Farmers definitely know about sowing and reaping, and that there can be quite a wait between the two.

Rows and rows of seed planted in the ground.  There will be tens of thousands of little plants here within a few weeks.  This is what the Soft White Wheat crop for next year looks like at the moment - a bunch of rows in dirt.

Our crew is working hard to plant the whole grains and legumes that will come From Our Farm To Your Table next year at this time.

Meanwhile, you can buy this years freshly harvested crop of Joseph's Grainery Whole Grains and Legumes at your local retailer or on our online shop.
