Why not have breakfast for dinner tonight? These cracked wheat pancakes are delicious and easy to make! We admit this isn't the most inspiring photo of pancakes you'll see, but our camera's battery died before we could get the ooey-gooey-syrupy and butter picture taken.
3/4 c Joseph's Grainery Soft White Wheat, milled in blender to a stone ground consistency
3/4 c Joseph's Grainery Soft White Whole Wheat Pastry Flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 Tbsp baking powder
2 Tbsp sugar
1 1/2 c milk
1 egg, beaten
Directions: In a mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients and sugar. Add the milk and egg, stir well. The mixture will have small lumps. Using a ladle, pour batter onto a lightly greated griddle and slightly brown both sides.
Hard Red Wheat Berries will also work in this recipe.
