National Whole Grains Month - Giveaway!

September is National Whole Grains Month, so in honor of that here at Joseph's Grainery, we thought we needed to celebrate in some way.  We are after all, in the business of sustainably producing quality whole grains.
Celebrate National Whole Grains Month with any of Joseph's Grainery Whole Grain products.

  4. I just became a follower. I like my pancakes with a little syrup and lots of fruit, strawberries, peaches, bananas, raspberries, cooked apples, or whatever kind of fruit fresh, cooked or dried is available. My dog, Bailey loves pancakes with a little syrup, too. Whenever we make pancakes, Bailey gets a little one, too.

  6. Whole grain pancakes are the only kind I eat! I spice up the batter with cinnamon and cardamom, drizzle the hot cakes with real maple syrup, and kiss with a wisp of freshly whipped cream to finish. Bliss.

  8. Mmmm...whole grain pancakes...

Of course, I love to eat them with syrup. But when I was growing up, we often smothered them with applesauce. If I had applesauce on hand, I would definitely do that!

  10. I am mostly a purist and was given a recipe by my grandfather which has only slightly been modified- I love pancakes and hold to the "grandfather & I" tradition of butter and syrup with a good side of bacon and a cup of coffee stout enough to float a horseshoe.

  12. We like ours stacked high with plenty of butter and maple syrup. Sometimes we get crazy and smother them in sour cream before we add the syrup. SOOOOO good.

    Lots of yummy love,

  17. I love pancakes with a couple chocolate chips cooked in until they're gooey. Without chocolate chips (sometimes we run out. gasp!), I use powdered sugar, butter, and strawberries as a topping. Or... puree the strawberries and pour on.
