Fruit n' Wheat Cobbler

This is quite the treat!  We used frozen berries (since they aren't in season, obviously) and it was delicious!  Why not make this for your sweetheart on Valentine's Day?


1/2 c all purpose flour
1/2 c Joseph's Grainery Soft White Wheat, milled to a stone ground consistency in your blender
1/8 tsp baking soda
1/2 Tbsp baking powder
dash of sea salt
1/4 c butter
4 c fruit, frozen or fresh
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:  Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  Put butter in a 9 inch pie pan and place in the oven until the butter is melted.  Remove from the oven and place the fruit in the butter.  In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients, sugar, milk and vanilla, then pour this mixture over the fruit.  Stick it in the oven and bake for 45 minutes.  Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream and you'll be in heaven!
