A-6 and Ag Cat Collide (continued)

April 15, 1993 report of the mid air collision of an A6 Intruder and a Grumman Ag Cat over our farm at Diamond, Washington (near Colfax-about 60 miles south of Spokane). All three men live through the accident although the pilot of the Ag Cat is seriously injured. Teams from NAS Whidbey Island, Fairchild AFB, and the NTSB work together to find answers.  You'll see my Grandpa again in this news clip.

He was in the air when the collision happened.  He was able to land his plane in one of our fields and then locate and help one of the crew members from the A-6 Intruder, who was very disoriented.
